Join the Baltimore Oyster Partnership and help restore oyster in the Chesapeake Bay!
On Saturday, May 16th, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, hop aboard one of Living Classrooms' historic ships to learn all about oysters and their crucial role in the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem. Discover why these incredible creatures are vital while actively planting them in their permanent home in the Patapsco River.
Be prepared to get your hands dirty as we transfer oysters from the Inner Harbor onto the ship. We'll then transport them to an oyster sanctuary, where they will spend their lives filtering water and providing essential habitat for other marine life.
